It is possible to upload a video file to EthosCE and then embed within a course shell, course object, or basic page. However, we recommend uploading a video to a third party vendor account and embedding within EhtosCEEthosCE, in order to not affect the performance of the EthosCE system.
- Navigate to content.
- Click "Edit."
- Click the add media icon in the WYSIWYG editor:
- Click "Upload."
- Click "Browse..."
- Click "Upload."
- Click "Next."
- Select either a public or private file. The "public" option is recommended because if the video is set to "private," only logged-in users will be able to view it.
- Click "Next."
- Click "Save."
- Save the content.
