It is possible to upload a video file to EthosCE and then embed within a course shell, course object, or basic page. However, we recommend uploading a video to a third party vendor account and embedding within EhtosCEEthosCE, in order to not affect the performance of the EthosCE system.

  1. Navigate to content.
  2. Click "Edit."
  3. Click the add media icon in the WYSIWYG editor:
  4. Click "Upload."
  5. Click "Browse..."
  6. Click "Upload."
  7. Click "Next."
  8. Select either a public or private file. The "public" option is recommended because if the video is set to "private," only logged-in users will be able to view it.
  9. Click "Next."
  10. Click "Save."
  11. Save the content.
