Catalog & Search Configurations (Solr)

This guide will assist Site Admins with configuring the Catalog & Search for EthosCE.

 Instructions

1. Click the wrench to open the admin menu. 

2. Click “Configuration.” 

3. Click “EthosCE.”

4. Click “Catalog and search configuration (Solr).”

5. The following configurations are available for editing: 

   1. Days after Expiration to remove from index

   2. Days after event end to remove from index

   3. Client sell price search facet ranges

   4. Core Course Fields Settings 

   5. Custom Course Fields Settings

      Course Field Configurations

6. Use the check box to the left of the field to enable or disable the field for use in the catalog 

7. Click “Edit configuration” to change the individual course field settings 

8. For each facet, you can configure: 

   1. Weight- the weight controls the order in which the facet displays 

   2. Sort options- sort by result count or alphabetically
