Quiz Troubleshooting

Problem:

User cannot get past the quiz to the next object.

Troubleshoot:

1. Is the quiz grade set properly under both 'Edit instance' and 'Settings' of the quiz object? 

2. Did the quiz report reflect that the user passed or failed the quiz?

3. Has the user met the allowed attempts on the quiz?

4. is the next object available (ie. does it have a date restriction or access based on grade)?

Problem:

User receives an Access Denied system message.

Troubleshoot:

1. Under the Quiz course object Taking Options tab, is 'Backwards navigation' disabled while 'Prepopulate with correct answers from last result' is enabled? If so, please enable 'Backwards navigation' as well.

Problem:

Review and feedback options are disabled on the quiz, but my user sees them when taking the quiz

Troubleshoot:

1. Are you logged in as an admin (site or course) or a student user/learner? Admins will see additional feedback when taking a quiz, for testing purposes. We recommend to test as a student user.

2. Did you clear your browser cookies? Your browser may be thinking you are logged in as an admin.

Problem:

Editing options are disabled on a quiz, quiz object settings, or quiz question.

Troubleshoot: 

1. Does the quiz have quiz attempts?

2. Is the question being used in another quiz in the course? If so is there an attempt on the other quiz?
