Use the attendance course object for live events or enduring activities that require attendance.
The Attendance course object can be used to restrict progress through a course until a learner is marked attended by a course administrator, or the user texts in the code via SMS text messaging, or the enters the attendance code into the attendance course object.
A course may also have multiple attendance points, preventing the learner from proceeding without being marked attended for all of them.
Adding Attendance
Click the "Course outline" tab.
Select "Attendance" from the course object dropdown.
Click the "Add object" button.
Click the "Save outline" button.
Learners will not be able to proceed past the attendance course object until marked attended by an administrator.
Bulk mark attendance by using the "Enrollments" tab, and selecting multiple learners.
