Enrollment Settings and Child Enrollment Settings

Enrollment settings control how learners may enroll or purchase the courses in the course relationship.

There are three settings:

1. User may only enroll in parent 

2. User may only enroll in direct children

3. User may enroll in parent or direct children

In addition, child enrollment options are provided: The learner can either be immediately enrolled in all child courses, or can be allowed to select the courses to enroll in. This setting is only applicable when options 1 or 3 above are selected.

To set or change the enrollment settings:

1. Navigate to the course.

2. Click "Edit."

3. Click "Course settings."

4. Select the appropriate option under "Enrollment settings."

5. Click "Save."

To set or change the child enrollment options:

1. Navigate to the course.

2. Click "Edit."

3. Click "Course settings."

4. Select the appropriate options under "Child enrollment options."

5. Click "Save."
