EthosCE is installed with an e-mail logger, that will capture and store all e-mail messages sent from the system.

This is useful for debugging emails that are sent but not received by an administrator or learner due to connectivity, spam rules, or other issues.

To access the maillog:

  1. Open the admin menu.
  2. Click "Administration."
  3. Click "Reports."
  4. Click "Outgoing Mail log."
  5. Use the filters to adjust search criteria.
  6. Click on an email "Subject" line to see what the email contained.

 

Note that e-mails containing HTML will show in plain text.
