A news item is a post with no comments allowed. This item is pulled into the 'Recent News' block on the home page or learning group landing page.
  1. Click the wrench to open the admin menu.
  2. Click "Add content."
  3. Click "News Item."
  4. Type in a Title.
  5. Type in news content into the 'Body' field.
  6. Leave your "Text format" at Full HTML.
  7. Fill in the common content tabs if necessary.
  8. Click "Save".
