The following is a suggested solution for conferencing pricing structure.

Enrolling in conference or specific conference events/sessions

For this setup you will need the Course Relationship add-on. This setup only covers a parent-child (two levels) enrollment process. With the standard setup only parent-child course relationships are supported.

  1. Create a Course Relationship with a parent and child courses.

  2. Edit the parent course set the Enrollment settings to User may enroll in parent or direct children.

  3. Set the Child enrollment options to Enroll in all child activities when enrolled in parent.

  4. A price may be set on the parent and its child courses.

Adding tiered (variable) pricing

Variable pricing may be used to apply tiered pricing to an activity by adding pricing attributes to your course(s). Variable pricing comes with every site setup.

  1. Create pricing attributes.

  2. Create attribute options.

  3. Navigate to the parent course.

  4. Add the pricing attributes to your course(s).

  5. If tiered pricing needs to be applied to the parent and the child courses pricing then pricing attributes may be added to the parent and the children with careful consideration for the pricing attributes Cart settings.

If pricing attributes are added to both the parent and the child courses make sure that the pricing attributes the following Cart settings are enabled:

  • Show attribute form in cart

  • Show attribute title in cart

  • No labels
