The quiz timer will start the countdown as soon as the user clicks into the quiz and starts an attempt. Once time is up, the user will not be able to submit the quiz.
- Navigate to a course with a quiz.
- Click the COURSE OUTLINE "Course outline" tab.
- Edit the quiz.
- Navigate to the taking options tab.
- Type in Click "Edit instance", and proceed to Editing a Quiz.
- Beneath Taking Options tab, type the maximum time allowed is (in seconds) in the Time limit field.
