A poll is a simple course object designed to collect an average response from a single question from learners in the course.

A learner may not proceed past a required Poll until the they cast their vote. |
Adding a Poll
Click the "Course outline" tab.
Select "Poll" from the course object dropdown.
Click "Add object."
Click "Save outline."
Proceed to edit the Poll
Editing a Poll
Click the "COURSE OUTLINE" tab.
Click "Edit instance" in a Poll section.
Edit the choices in the list of text boxes.
To remove a choice, delete the contents of the text box.
To add another choice, click the "More choices" button.
Click "Save."
