Creating Attribute Pricing

Pricing options can be added to an attribute as a default to be used when the attribute is added to a course. This page describes the steps for adding the default options. The default options may be overridden when the attribute is added to the course.

To create global pricing attributes:

1. Navigate to "admin/store/products/attributes/" by placing that path in your browser's menu bar. (Note that this is temporary and a link will be added to the administration menu soon.)

2. Click "Options" in the row for the attribute.

3. Click "+ Add an option" link in the topmost tab menu.

4. Type a name in the "Name" field. This name will appear to learners on the course landing page

5. Type a price in the "Price" field. 

   • Type in a positive or negative value for each adjustment applied when this option is selected.

   • Any of these may be overridden at the product level.

6. Click the "Submit" button.

At this point, the attribute may be added to a course.
