Creating a Learning Group

  1. Click “+ New" menu link.

  2. Click “Learning Group.”

  3. Type in "Group name" and "Description."

  4. Type in a "Path" to create a URL path for the learning group.

  5. Under "Group Visibility", select the the privacy option for the group. 

    • The default setting is "Public", allowing any user the ability to join the group.

    • If the group is set to "Private", users must be manually added to the group for group access.

  6. To change the learning group’s styles(fonts, colors, etc), the Custom CSS field may be used. Knowledge of CSS(Cascading Style Sheets) would be useful to implement styles to the learning group.

  7. Click “Save."

Do not change the learning group URL path beneath the "URL Path settings" tab. Because learning groups use the required "Path" field, using the URL path field as well will create an endless loop. Use the "Path" field to set the URL path.
