Schema.org meta tags

Schema.org defines schemas for structured data on web pages. EthosCE uses the “Course” and “Event” schemas to provide structured data to Google and other search engines. This helps a search engine display an event, for example, in a calendar as shown below.

EthosCE populates the Course and Event schemas automatically using data from the course.

The description used is taken from the “Summary” field. For best results, the summary field must contain an event description.
