Manage Credit Types
Click the wrench to open the admin menu.
Click “Manage Credit Types”
A listing of credit types enabled on the site is listed by Label.
Click “Edit” to make changes to a credit type
The following fields are available for editing:
Title- The title is the Credit Label, which will appear on the site for admins and learners. This field supports a limited amount of HTML formatting

Description- This field is used for Credit Statements and provides a WYSIWYG editor zone to update and style the description.
The description is displayed on the course landing page’s accreditation tab under any enabled credit.
Min and Max Credit value defaults – these are the default values used for new courses created. Course admins can update these after course creation.
Increments value defaults – This controls the increments variable credit may be claimed by learners. This will be used on new courses created.
Weight - This controls the order in which the Credit Type displays compared to other credit type weights.
Higher numbers appear below those with lower (lighter) numbers.
Credit order is used on this admin page, as well as credit listings throughout the site.
The following credit management tasks require a Support ticket:
Editing the Machine Name.
Adding or removing a credit type.
Making a credit type inactive.
Making credit variable for new courses.
