Manage Profile Fields

  1. Click the wrench to open the admin menu. 

  1. Click “Manage Profile Fields”

    A listing of profile fields enabled on your site is listed by Label in alphabetical order

  2. Click “Edit” to make changes to a profile field

  3. The following fields are available for editing: 

    1. Label- This is the Label that will appear on the site for admins and learners. 

    2. Description- This field appears directly below the Label and can be used to provide help text. 

      1. Use the WYSIWYG editor to stylize content. 

    3. Required - Sets if the Profile field is required to save. 

    4. Weight - This controls the order in which the Profile Field displays compared to other Profile Field weights. 

    5. Disable and hide this field – when checked, this removes the field from collection on the Profile but does not delete the field, or any data collected from that field.

  4. Click “Save.”  

NOTE: The following profile field management tasks require a Support ticket: 

  • Adding or removing a profile field. 

  • Modifying the profile field format. 

  • Modifying the profile field selection options. 

  • Migrating Profile fields.
