Faculty Roles

In the faculty management feature, two different kinds of roles are used.

• System roles: System roles define a set of permissions that control what a user is allowed to do in EthosCE. In faculty management, the system roles are "Faculty coordinator" and "Faculty."

• Faculty roles: Faculty roles allow the faculty coordinator to categorize faculty. For example, as a "course director," "speaker," or "moderator," etc. Faculty roles do not define permissions.
