Managing Files

The 'Manage Files' dashboard provides a way for site administrators to find and replace media files in EthosCE and identify media usage locations.

Viewing the Manage Files Dashboard

1. Click 'Manage'

2. Under 'EthosCE Admin', Click 'Manage Content'

3. Click the 'Files' tab

The Manage files dashboard will show all media files uploaded in EthosCE.  Site administrators can search for media by file name, and filter by media types including: Audio, Document, Image, and Video.

Replacing a Media File

1. Click 'Manage'

2. Under 'EthosCE Admin', Click 'Manage Content'

3. Click the 'Files' tab

4. Search for the media file to be replaced

5. Click 'Edit'

6. Upload the new replacement file

7. Click 'Save'

Media Usage Locations

1. Click 'Manage'

2. Under 'EthosCE Admin', Click 'Manage Content'

3. Click the 'Files' tab

4. Search for the media file to be replaced

5. Under 'Used in' Click the count link

The dashboard will display all the locations where the media file is currently being used.
