Matching

A matching question presents a list of questions and answers to the learner.  Answers are displayed in multiple dropdown form fields. To answer correctly the learner has to match each answer with its correct question counterpart.

To add a matching question to a quiz:

1. Add a matching question.

2. Type a title in the "Title" field. This is not be displayed to learners.

3. Type in question text into the "Question" field. This is used to introduce the matching questions.

4. To add matching options, type a question in the "Question" field and type the correct answer next to it in the "Answer" field. 

5. Add feedback in the "Feedback" field. Feedback is displayed based on the review options set in the quiz.

To penalize for incorrect answers:

1. Check the "Penalty for guessing" checkbox. This will subtract 1 point from the learner's score for each incorrect match. The score will not go below 0.
