Child Course Display Options

The course relationship parent allows for the display of the child courses to be set in one place. The available options are:

• Show child on catalog: yes, no, N/A

• Show child on transcript: yes, no, N/A

"Yes" will set the immediate child courses' configuration such that it will display on the catalog or transcript.

"No" will set the immediate child courses' configuration such that it will not display on the catalog or transcript.

N/A will not change the child courses' configuration for display on catalog or transcript. N/A is selected by default when a course is created.

To set the child course display options for transcript and catalog:

1. Navigate to the course.

2. Click "Edit."

3. Click "Course settings."

4. Select the appropriate option under "Show child on catalog" and "Show child on transcript."

5. Click "Save".
