Optional Course Objects

An optional course object is not required for course completion.  

Optional course objects can be completed in any order, however, if an optional course object appears after a required object, the required object must be completed before the optional course object can be accessed.

To make a course object optional:

  1. Navigate to the course.

  2. Click "COURSE OUTLINE" tab.

  3. Click "Settings" on the row of the course object you would like to edit.

  4. Click the "Settings" tab on the left. 

  5. Uncheck the "Completion required" checkbox.

  6. Click "Update."

  7. Click "Save outline."
